What are Coops & Gardens Programs?
Through our Coops & Gardens Initiative, Chickens.org helps schools, nonprofits, and other groups set up “Coops & Gardens Programs.” These programs are designed to meet the needs of each specific community through gardening, raising chickens, composting, and more!
All programs utilize hands-on learning to increase knowledge, empower healthy lifestyles, and prepare the next generation for future opportunities.
Chickens.org provides free resources to help schools set up their own programs, in exchange for monthly reporting requirements to help improve our Initiative.
